Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He chose for His inheritance.

Lord Father, sometimes we forget the great freedom we have living in a nation in which You are recognized as the one true God by so many. Although some of the citizens follow their own beliefs, as we are a nation comprised of many individuals from all nationalities and walks of life, our core foundation, the basis of our laws and our government, are based upon Your Holy laws, the commandments You have given us to live by.

We thank You for the blessing of living in this nation in which we can openly and freely worship You. Continue to bless our nation, Lord. Guide our leaders and their decisions daily. Continue to remind those in power that You are the supreme God who oversees all, and upon honoring You, You will in turn bless this nation.
